My Journey

Having worked as a teacher for several years before pursuing a career in therapy, I became acutely aware of the need for socio-emotional support for students and their families. In my classroom, I witnessed firsthand the challenges children and teens face, including academic stress, peer pressure, and social anxiety. I am skilled at helping children and teens navigate these challenges and build resilience.

My Experience

Driven by my desire to help adolescents struggling with mental health issues, I decided to apply to graduate school for mental health counseling. It was one of the most rewarding decisions I have made, and I can now provide crucial support to children and adolescents that need to thrive outside of the classroom.

To help children and teens thrive, it's crucial that they feel heard, understood, and supported. I work collaboratively with my clients and their families to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and concerns.

My Process

My treatment approach is rooted in the holistic framework, which involves addressing not just the physical but also the emotional and spiritual aspects of addiction. Additionally, I utilize trauma-informed care to explore and address any past experiences that may be contributing to addiction.

My commitment to providing personalized care means that I work closely with my clients to develop customized treatment plans that align with their unique needs and preferences. Together, we will explore effective strategies and develop healthy coping mechanisms that can help them achieve long-lasting recovery.
