Becoming A Therapist

My path to becoming a therapist was forged through personal experiences and a deep-seated desire to lend a helping hand.

Growing up, I was the go-to person in my family and friend circles, always there to offer support and a listening ear. My family’s connection with social workers, particularly due to my younger siblings being adopted, ingrained in me the importance of nurturing those in need.

My Experience

Over the past 3-5 years, I’ve honed crucial skills such as active listening, empathy, ethical decision-making, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. These skills enable me to better serve you and promote your growth and healing.
