Hey There

I am Alexis

She/Her/Hers

What motivates me everyday to be a therapist is to see the light come back into a person’s eyes once they create the space to see the change they’ve been seeking.

THERAPY

What to Expect

When working with me, you can expect safety, honesty, and authenticity.
I’m straight forward, trustworthy, and do not mind confrontation. I embrace difficult and challenging clients, and I address the topics and conversations that others are afraid to address. In therapy, I meet each of my clients where they are and go at their pace. What makes working with me a rewarding experience is that while creating an authentic and safe place, I’m not an expert in the room. You are the expert of your own life, and I’m here for support, Not to judge or create pressure”.

Experience

&

Approach

What attracted me to becoming a therapist is this drive to help people make a difference. Since graduating I’ve worked with different populations addressing domestic violence, sexual assault, mental health, generational trauma with families involved in DCFS, and general trauma.

My specialty is trauma. What excites me the most about working with clients is mapping out the experiences and life events that have led them to this space, and resolution becomes within arms reach.
My goal, when working with families, couples, or individuals, is to provide the tools needed that will create the change you are seeking. I am a strong believer that starting with small tangible goals will lead to a greater change.

My grandmother taught me the importance of creating my own path, be fearless, and live with no boundaries. I think it’s important to try things at least once. It’s okay to not be ready for certain things in life but we can’t experience certain things if we’re never ready.

I graduated from Webster University in St. Louis with a Master’s degree in Mental Clinical Health Counseling.
