Hey There

I am Ashley

She/Her/Hers

Mental health has always felt like a higher calling for me. I’m very personable, a great listener, and I truly value people and want the best for them.

THERAPY

What to Expect

It’s important to me that therapy/sessions feel effortless.
I want clients to feel supported as they are working to navigate their psychological and emotional trauma. I am a firm believer your comfort level attributes to your success rate and I strive for each session to feel more like a conversation with a good friend. Therapy is the ultimate practice in self care and my clients should be aware that the steps they are taking are an investment in their overall future health.

Experience

&

Approach

I have experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds and a wide range of mental health concerns, including anger issues, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. My training includes integrative, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness approaches to therapy, and I work out of a humanistic and person-centered approach. All this means is I see you, my potential client, as the expert in your own life, and I value your comfort under my care.
I’m never going to make assumptions about you, and I truly want what’s best for you. We work as a team. My friends would say I possess a strong sense of compassion and commitment to people. I do all of this while also creating a safe space to help my clients get unstuck. My expertise is wide-ranged and includes both individual and family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction modalities.
My own personal motto is a quote by Lisa Nichols. I believe that we have the power to decide where we want to go in life, wherever that may be. “I’m not going to ask the world if I can be great, I’m going to give the world notice of my greatness.
I graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, specializing in drug and alcohol use.
